Care Instructions
Indoor products:
Recommended humidity in the room: between 40% and 60%. Ideal room temperature: between 14°C/57°F and 23 °C/74 °F. To prevent color differences do not place your furniture in direct sunlight. Avoid exposure to extreme conditions: do not place furniture near heating sources or air-conditioners. Always ensure water and solutions used to clean the floor do not come in contact with the furniture's base, as it might leave permanent marks. For dusting, use a dry cloth. For cleaning or in case of a spill, use a damp cloth and natural soap. Each fabric has its own specifications, and professional cleaning is recommended.
Stone/marble products:
Marble, stone or travertine are porous by nature and can be stained, scratched, or chipped. To prevent ring marks, place coasters or trivets under glasses and dishes. Do not place hot items directly on the stone. Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners, furniture polish, or dusting sprays. We recommend products from Stone Care International.
Wood outdoor products:
Do not use abrasive products like acetones, bleaches, solvents, etc. To extend the durability of wooden outdoor furniture please follow the specific care instructions. Clean the product with a wet cloth dampened in a mild cleaner and dry immediately. Dust it with a duster.
Teak outdoor products:
Teak is rich in natural oils, so rain showers can cause these oils to be released and leave marks on new teak furniture. We recommend that you rinse your garden furniture thoroughly with a garden hose before first use. While no additional treatment is required on your outdoor teak product, you can choose to apply the following: Use a specialized teak cleaning product to remove any dirt buildup from items. To protect the teak against stains and green deposits you can use a teak protector, ensure the teak is completely dry with any dust removed before applying. Allow 24 hours of dry time before exposing it to moisture. Extra fine sandpaper can be gently used to remove stubborn stains or superficial scratches to teak surfaces. Always sand in the direction of the wood grain. During autumn, winter, and rainy seasons store the furniture in a dry indoor place. Protect it with a waterproof cover if you want to leave it outdoors. For the brand Ethnicraft, we sell the covers. We recommend products from Osmo.
Outdoor upholstery and fabrics:
Clean with clear water and natural soap. Most of the covers are machine washable up to 30°C/86°F.
Metal structures:
Dust regularly using a soft dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use mild soap and warm water. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry. Do not use steel wool, sandpaper, mineral acid, bleach or chlorine cleaners on metal surfaces. Do not drag the furniture along the floor, as it might damage the protective coating, cause rusting or leave permanent marks on the floor. Always lift furniture when moving them from place to place.
